    I was in the market to buy a metal detector to hunt beaches and local
 historic areas and settled on a Garrett 1250 and my local dealer told
 me I'd be happier with a Minelab Sovereign, he said it is a better
 detector and it will pick up more targets, deeper and will dicriminate

      I can't find any info. comparing the minelab sovereign and garrett
 1250 detectors, can anyone help me with some advice or knowledge about

 DISCOVERY about the retrieval of old logs from Lake Superior.  I'm
