Does anyone know of any good articles on the net which would  give me
 field information about using my new Gold Bug 2?  I would be mostly in

I've got a 1265x and a Whites' VSAT gold detector that I'd like to sell
 or trade up for a CZ6. I"m not in California anymore and have little
 use for the VSAT. If anyone is interested please e-mail me or let me

FOR STEVEK. I HAVE A 1265 WHICH I USE ON EASTERN BEACHES. IT WORKS
 GREAT AND HAS PAID FOR ITSELF MANY TIMES OVER BUT THE HARDWARE WILL
 RUST. SUGGEST YOU ENCLOSE THE HOUSING IN A PLASTIC BAG WHEN IN USE AT
 SALTWATER BEACHES.

My gold bug II works better than any other gold machine that I have ever
 used in black sand.  Fisher, you did a great job.

Is there anyone out there that owns an 1266-x & a CZ6a. I own a CZ6a and
 want to buy a detector for my wife and a back up for me.   Any info.

The 1266x is great!  Found my first 14kt gold chain and small locket at
 a salt water beach, at 14"!  I'm very pleased!

I use a Fisher 1235X and love it!!! Last summer I found my first diamond
 ring, a beautiful 1/2 carat in white gold!   It paid for my metal
 detector  twice.

I just ordered my first Fisher metal detector. A CZ-6a Quicksilver. I

Leave it to the good ole Fisher!! Wednesday night I found my oldest
 find yet, it's a Charles II copper farthing dated 1673!!! I had to go
 to  the Library to find out what it was.  And now I want to do more
 research.

My Fisher 1266-X is up to 14 Wheat Pennies, and has made my oldest coin
 find yet.....an 1895 Indian Head Penny!!!  The 1266-X with "High
 Energy"  Hot Head Coil is unbeatable!!!

My total Wheaty Count for the 1266-X is now 16.  I don't get to go much,
 and have found the wheaties in my yard, and behind my mom's Pawn Shop.

I'm a Very committed XLT user w/ a lot of good finds under my belt.
 Well guess what? I just ordered a Fisher CZ6a, I'm definetely nervous!!
 I understand they get great depth. Are there any previous XLT users

Just bought a used Fisher Model VLF 440 w/ a 3 1/2" coil.  Seems to work
 just fine, but the small coil makes it hard to search big areas.
 Anyone know much about this machine?  Know of an 8 inch coil for it?

Found my first wheatie with my 1266-X.  A 1944 in good condition.
 Mixed 1 part salt with 2 parts vinegar and rubbed on coin which   ate
 up the coin. (Found this horrible recipe in 1980 Metal Detector  book).
 Any suggestions for restoring coing (silver, clad, and copper)?

I am using my gold bug2 with the depthmaster gold rush system  and I am
 getting false signels from the coil cable, it acts like  the connector
 at the box end is loose, but it is not. I can get a signel  just by
 pinching the cable with my fingers... Help

 Fisher 1220X. Since then  I graduated to a 1280X, CZ6, & a CZ20. Love
 the hobby! Getting   close to my 500th silver coin dug. Love coin
 shooting, water hunting,  ect. Member of the Sonoma County Coin Poppers

8" coil(new)for sale.Fits 1225x,1235x,1265x,and 1266x.$50.00.

Use a CZ6a and a 1280X. Been hunting three years. Have the best
 collection of pull tabs, trash, and nails, in Texas.  Found a few
 keepers (enough to keep looking) and hope to find more gold.  Want to
 learn more of the hobby and the methods.

I am thinking of buying a metal detector to look for gold and silver

I use a Fisher CZ 6A to sweep the beach at Brigantine, NJ.  Anyone else

I have a Fisher CZ20 & it works GREAT.

I have a 1266-X fisher metal detector - I have lost the instructions on
 the switches and how to set it just for gold and not tin or iron.

FISHER CZ-7 you can take this detector to the hunt site open the
 cardboard box for the first time and get results, without reading the
 manual! Fisher did it right, it is truly user friendly & ez to
 configure.

 Indian Head Pennies, 2 buffalo nickles, 10 Mercury Dimes, 11 Silver
 Roosevelt Dimes, 1 Barber Dime - 1905-S, 1 Barber Quarter - 1894-S,  2
 Walking Liberty Half Dollars- 1920-S, 1927-S, 2 Silver Washington

Any info about Fisher's "Impulse"? Can it be used On Land?
